STRUGGLE for just and lasting peace!
A just and lasting peace bodes well for people to genuinely claim and exercise their rights, and empower them. This struggle rests in people’s assertion of collective action across the globe.
ADDRESS THE ROOT CAUSES OF ARMED CONFLICT!
Peace is not merely the absence of war. Addressing the roots of the armed conflict entails confronting systemic issues of poverty and inequality in the country.
FREE ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS!
The stalled peace talks between the GRP and NDFP has a lot to do with the desired release of PPs especially NDFP consultants when the GRP failed to follow the Joint Agreement on Security and Immunity Guarantee (JASIG).
JustPeacePH is an an international platform which supports the Philippine peace process. It has special emphasis in reaching out to individuals, organisations and institutions which have advocacies on peace and issue-based people’s concerns in various capacities outside of the country. In particular, PeacePH aims to seek support from individuals and organisations in multilateral organisations, people’s organisations, civil society organisations, academe, development institutions as well as governments.
